What Children Learn While Growing


Life is beautiful. It is a gift of God. When we were born we were all the same, innocent, selfless, and no grudges against anyone. We needed only one thing that is our mother's lap as our world was so small. But, life is not always a bed of roses. There are some dark sides to life. Which we don't want to see or we just ignore. When we were kids we were unable to figure out the difference between good or bad. It was our parents and teachers who used to tell us what was good and bad. They had saved us from so many dangers.

Children Learn While Growing Up

While growing up children begin to see different colors of life. Children begin to enjoy playing with friends, going to schools, sharing their lunchboxes, new dresses, and most importantly toys with which they get attached with. Children learn following qualities of life.

1. Emotional intelligence

While growing up children learn emotional intelligence by themselves or with the help of teachers and parents. Awareness, self-regulation, and empathy are needed to notice, understand and act on emotions in an effective way.

2. Self-esteem

Children find out different ways to develop self-esteem in children. You can assign some tasks and encourage them to hard work. They will think good things about themselves and most importantly they will start believing in themselves.

3. Social and cultural growth

Culture can be defined as “the set of attitudes, values, beliefs, and behaviors shared by a group of people, communicated from one generation to the next.” Children get introduced to our culture in the early stage of life. Understanding the culture will help them to socialize well in the future.

4. Life-skills

Besides, studies children to learn many life-skills things such as swimming, horse riding, communication, commitment, maintaining relationships, decision making, etc.

5. Teamwork

Children start making groups when they grow. The like-minded children form a group and do various activities such as playing indoor /outdoor sports, sharing things, and learning things together. In the process, they learn teamwork.
