1. Dogs have always been our most loyal companions since prehistoric times. 2. Dogs are omnivores -- they eat meat, grains and vegetables. 3. Dogs curl up to keep themselves warm.   4. Dogs have very good senses. A dog's sense of smell is 10,000 times stronger than a human's. 5. Affectionately, dogs can learn to walk backward, salute and bow. 6. Puppies love games such as hide and seek. 7. Dogs are related to the coyote, wolves, foxes and jackals. 8. Dogs produce sounds differently, such as barks, howls and growls. 9. The d og wags its tail, to show happiness.  If it shows its teeth and growls that means the dog is angry. 10. The dogs can serve humans in many ways. Dogs can be trained as guard dogs, hunting dogs and police dogs. They have an average lifespan of at least 30-40 years and some Crocodiles of the larger species can live up to 70 years. 4. They can visualize things clearly during nights, they are mostly nocturnal hunters. 5. Like other reptiles, crocodiles are cold-blooded. 6. They have a very slow metabolism, which allows them to survive long periods without food. 7. Crocodiles are carnivores, which means they eat only meat. They eat fish, birds, and frogs.  8.  Crocodiles live in tropical climates to maintain body temperature.  9. The closest relatives of crocodiles are birds and dinosaurs. 10. Crocodiles can be often seen with their jaws wide open. They open their jaws to cool.
