Introvert children are born to fly high because of their inbuilt talent. They are typically a good listener. Introvert children usually have high self-awareness and learn through observation. 1. It Is Okay To Be An Introvert

If you find that your child is hesitant to get along with people, it is not unusual. You will be surprised to know that introverted children are 25 to 40 percent worldwide, so there is nothing to be ashamed of being an introvert.

2. Appreciate Your Child’s Efforts

Praise your child when you see her talking to someone new. It is good that she has started realizing that conversation opens up with people.

3. Wipe Out Your Child's Apprehensions

If you find your child is getting apprehensive about trying new things, Recall some incidents when she had fun despite being scared at first.

4. Take Your Child's Teachers Help

Discuss things about your child's behavior with her teachers. Perhaps, the teacher may find a better way to get through the introvert issue, whereby she can participate in the classroom rather than just listening to others.

5. Remove The "Shy" Tag

When you say she/he is shy. It gives a negative impression about your child. You had better say that she needs some time to get over her hesitation.

6. Don't Get Upset About Being Picky

Being an introvert, he or she tends to get very selective or picky while making friends. It is okay if she makes one or two friends at a time. The more time she will get for herself.

7. Encourage Your Children To Support Themselves

Introvert children often take for granted. Being introverted doesn't mean you cannot defend yourself. Guide them to stand up for themselves.
