Be Safe in Sunny Hot Weather


When the days become longer temperature soars up. The sun rays may become harmful to our skin. Of-course sunshine has too many benefits for health. It provides us vitamin D. Which is needed for the strong bones. Therefore, we should not protect us from the sun all the time. You need to be protected when you go out in very hot weather.

Problems in Summer

Sunburn
Sunburn looks bad. Light-colored people are more susceptible to sunburn because they have lesser melanin compare to those of having dark color skin. Melanin is a dark black or brown color pigment that protects our skin from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. 

Sunstroke
Sunstroke is a condition that could lead to death. Sunstroke is also known as heatstroke happens when heat-regulating systems unable to work due to excessive heat in the surroundings. Sunstroke can harm us when we take insufficient water.

Eyes Irritation

During summer we often swim in swimming pools due to chlorine in the water our eyes get irritated. It becomes red eyes when it exposed to sun rays. Pollen and dust can also be allergic during summer. Etching and redness of eyes conjunctivitis infections are very common.

Dehydration

Excessive loss of water from our body is known as dehydration. Water goes out of the body by sweating.  Children and babies should be protected from sunstroke because they are more vulnerable to its ill effects.

How to Remain Safe in Sunny Weather

1.Drink a lot of water

Drinking a lot of water can save you from sunstroke. You would not get dehydrated if you drink water regularly & timely.

2.Have Energy Drinks

Sun during summer sucks your energy, glucose water, orange juice, and other energy drinks that can save you from the sunstroke.

3.Wear Sunglasses
Like skin, we have to protect our eyes from UV radiation. Wearing quality sunglasses can reduce the probability of the damage caused by sun rays.

4.Use Sunscreen
Wear sunscreen before going out in the sunny season. You must know what is the sun protection factor (SPF) in sunscreen. SPF is the number that tells us how long you will be protected from the sun rays.
